El anillo de Sor - The Ring of Sor (1997-)
This story came up for the first time in August 1997 as a serialized manga project. A boy called Okemi finds by accident a ring in an old trunk within the garret ofhis home, while he was looking for something interesting to give as a present to Saiki, a girl he was in love with. A strange accident literally shocks him, and soon Okemi discovers an altered state in the ring and himself. He eventually desists from giving the ring to Saiki in order to tackle the new situation. Melody, his childhood friend, is the only one who knows the secret of the ring and its powers, and she will be always there to support him on his way to find all the truth. This particular closeness will have its own effect. Okemi and Melody will get more and more acquainted, and he will eventually realize the love he was looking for was always beside him.
Okemi and Melody
The ring has a wide power spectrum. It ranges from reading people´s mind to casting lethal rays. As the power level depends very much on user´s maturity  and training, Okemi starts by reading minds and moving small objects, but he will gradually gain more and more power. There is also a fact background for the ring. It originally comes from the island of Sor, stepsister to the legendary Atlantis. After the cataclysm ensued in the two islands, the ring sunk and was dragged by some currents to the Mediterranean Sea. In the first years of 20th century, the ring was picked up by a skin diver and sold to an Italian antique dealer. Okemi´s grandfather, an archeologist, purchased it in one of his excavation trips. Back to home, he wrote some notes about this finding, and after his death all his stuff was stored in several trunks. As the archeologist´s widow began to have room problems at home, Okemi´s mother offered to take some of the trunks to her own house, and in one of them Okemi is to find the ring and the handwriting. One crucial point about the ring is its ability to concede supreme wishes, but they could be summoned only when the user takes his power to the top. According to the handwriting, two of the wishes were already used in Sor times. One more wish is left then, and has become Okemi´s goal, the new user.

The Ring of Sor has so far completed 14 chapters, nearly 300 pages and is stillbeing published. Those who followed it from the first chapter have noticed a dramatic style evolution and a maturing of its characters, this tendency still going on till now. Esta historia apareció por primera vez en agosto de 1997 como un proyecto de manga serializado. Un chico llamado Okemi encuentra accidentalmente un anillo en un viejo baúl del depósito de su casa mientras buscaba algo interesante que regarlarle a Saiki, una chica de quien está prendado. Un extraño accidente lo estremece literalmente y pronto Okemi descubre un cambio de estado en el anillo y en sí mismo. Finalmente se abstiene de llevárselo a Saiki con el fin de enfrentar la nueva situación. Melody, su amiga de infancia, es la única persona que conoce el secreto del anillo y sus poderes, y siempre estará cerca de él para apoyarlo en su afán de hallar toda la verdad. No obstante, esta particular cercanía tendrá sus propios efectos. Okemi y Melody se irán conociendo cada vez más, y él irá entendiendo que el amor que buscaba siempre estuvo ahí.

El anillo tiene un amplio espectro de poderes, que van desde leer la mente de las personas hasta lanzar fulminantes rayos. Dado que el nivel de poder depende mucho de la madurez y entrenamiento del usuario, Okemi empieza leyendo las mentes y moviendo objetos pequeños, pero poco a poco va aumentando sus capacidades. El anillo tiene, por otro lado, sus propios antecedentes. Proviene originalmente de la isla de Sor, hermanastra de la legendaria Atlántida. Luego del cataclismo que sobrevino en las dos islas, el anillo se hundió y fue arrastrado por corrientes hacia el Mar Mediterráneo. En los primeros años del siglo 20, el mismo fue encontrado por un buceador y vendido a un anticuario italiano. El abuelo de Okemi, un arqueólogo, lo compraría durante uno de sus viajes de excavación. De vuelta a casa, escribe algunas notas sobre este hallazgo, y luego de su muerte todo su material queda guardado en varios baúles. Como la viuda del arqueólogo empieza a tener problemas de espacio en casa, la madre de Okemi ofrece llevar los baúles a su propia casa, y es ahí donde Okemi encuentra el anillo y el manuscrito. Un punto crucial sobre el anillo es su capacidad de conceder deseos de nivel supremo, pero éstos sólo pueden invocarse en caso de que el usuario llegue al tope de su poder. De acuerdo con el manuscrito, dos de los deseos ya fueron usados en tiempos de Sor. Queda, pues, un deseo libre, y éste es ahora el objetivo de Okemi, el nuevo usuario.

El anillo de Sor ha completado ya 14 capítulos, cerca de 300 páginas y sigue publicándose hasta hoy. Aquellos que lo siguieron desde el primer capítulo habrán notado una dramática evolución de estilo y maduración de sus personajes, tendencia que aún se mantiene. No obstante, dos características permanecen constantes: historia simple y dibujo simple.
